Everyone starts with motivation. It is the easy part — a burst of energy in January, or the Monday after a photo you did not like. But motivation fades within days, and then what? The women who actually transform are not the most motivated. They are the most consistent.
Motivation is a feeling. Consistency is a system.
Waiting to “feel like it” is why most plans die in week two. You will not feel like it on most days — and that is completely normal. The trick is to make showing up so small and so scheduled that it no longer depends on how you feel.
You don't need to be perfect. You need to be consistent.
Small and steady wins
Thirty honest minutes, four or five days a week, for three months, beats a punishing two-week burst that you quit. Progress compounds quietly: better sleep, steadier energy, clothes fitting differently — long before the scale makes it obvious.
How to actually stay consistent
Fix a time and treat it like any other appointment. Keep the barrier low — home workouts you can do in your own room absolutely count. And have someone who notices when you go missing; being expected is a surprisingly powerful reason to show up. That gentle accountability is the whole point of coaching.
Start smaller than you think
If you are just beginning, do not try to overhaul your whole life at once. Build one steady habit first, let it hold, then add the next. That is exactly how the Kickstart Plan is designed — to turn “I am trying” into “this is just what I do now.”
